GM Thoughts (Welcome Guild Members!)
Hello, my name is Finn Mitchel, and this is my blog where I can answer questions, leave my thoughts, or simply ramble about this project everyone has worked so hard on. I want to say I am extremely proud of the work we have all done to make this project a reality, and if you are reading this, I thank you from the top to the bottom of my heart. I promise you this is all worth it and that there is more to this project than meets the eye. All you need to do is dig a little deeper or maybe just get lucky. Thank you!
Welcome to those curious enough, hyper-intelligent, or excited and/or yearning for something legendary. This podcast ignited my imagination, vitalized my creativity, enhanced my skill as a Game Master, and it officially gave me new reasons to get together with, undoubtedly, those I see as my allied nerds and literal best friends. Let me aid or show you fantastic new insight to what I randomly began writing on a rather indescribable day. Three Kingdoms occupy Troikah and all lands holding an Elven Imperator or King. Surprisingly, they are Brothers with an everlasting feud that ignited centuries ago. Now, this has grown into a deadly war; this everlasting sibling rivalry consistently takes an enormous toll on its land and valued people. Cities eviscerated, innumerable inhabitants dead, and an apocalyptic future is nearby. It’s not doomsday yet, as the war hasn’t hindered progress. Numerous exceptional individuals have kindled the biggest industrial spark Troikah ne’er seen before. Guided by desperate survival, the people adapted, grew their resources, and now experience a technological novelty. Automatons (robots) orchestrate business alongside Tabaxi; incredible and wondrous items are hatched like eggs out of chickens. There is no height that cannot eventually be reached. You could even say this war aided progress, and you can say that this war helped, but that emphatic desire, that youthful, full-of-aliveness optimism, it rarely comes true. End is coming; irritated and angry King's are the notorious adjectives they own. They are willing to end this war in heroic or anarchic efforts, whichever allows them to claim rhapsodic victory. The universe is not tragically without any heroes; there is the smallest chance heroic deeds will amass a complete triumph of righteousness. It only takes some great inspiration, wisdom, or a heroic action from young, old, or transcendent people to help start an everlasting future. This yearning for a better life starts under a museum’s roof, in a yore-old library, memories have overlooked. Even with the industrial clock moving seconds faster, a hunt for what ancient secrets were lost could be leading Troikah to salvation. This world existed long ago; time moves quickly; you rarely can observe our history until it has faded. What if rare, unknown secrets emancipate this world, eliminating the endless threat of war? Hidden weapons, incredible energies, or resources- maybe something that ousts the Kings out of power. Never underestimate the wonders and the influences from those long forgotten or lost to time. Relearn what was ignored, and with some luck, an end to an amaranthine war is near. What could decisively end this may be lost yet found again through the efforts in Ryder Richard, Milo Deadalus, and even Big Richard. We invite you into the wonderfully limitless world we lovingly created, Troikah. Come and listen on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube. Everything we’ve done was because of a love for Imagination, Storytelling, many Tabletop RPGs, and a fondness for how outstanding it is roleplaying and spending marvelous time that encourages everlasting friendship!
Sorry, I know I ramble; I’m just so excited to share this project with you, and I hope that you enjoy the stories we are telling. I promise you that we are worth your time, and we will continue to give our best! This is your Game Master, Finn Mitchel, with one last thing to say. Every episode ends with a clue, some insight into the world outside of our heros story. Good luck, everyone, and thank you!!!
